Hey Mooners –

 

After 20 years of coffee, blueberry muffins, blueberry pancakes, pecan crisp French toast, harbor views, and countless mornings with you all, it is time for us to pass the torch at Blue Moon Cafe.

For 20 years, the Blue Moon has been equal parts hard work, great people and a whole lot of fun. The Blue Moon isn’t going anywhere and will continue with the familiar menu and uniquely special setting that have meant so much to so many. Under the new ownership, the heart of this place will carry on.

 

Some things only happen once in a blue moon. For us, it was getting to be part of your mornings, your traditions, and this wonderful Boothbay Harbor community. The connections we have made here mean more than we can say. Watching children grow up and later bringing in families of their own has been one of the true privileges of these past 20 years, and we will always be grateful for the friendships and memories made within the walls of the Blue Moon.
