About Us
A Passion for Hospitality
Owner Florin Iuga moved to the United States in 2016, bringing a lifelong entrepreneurial spirit. As a 4th-generation entrepreneur, he learned his core management skills directly from his mother and grandmother.
The Journey to Boothbay Harbor
Florin first cultivated his deep passion for coffee while working at the Lotus coffee shop in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. After moving to Boothbay Harbor, he sharpened his local fine-dining and hospitality skills as a server at the acclaimed Ports of Italy.
A Partnership Built on Experience
While working locally as a server, Florin met veteran General Manager Garry Stewart. Recognizing a shared vision for exceptional service, the two joined forces as business partners to guide Blue Moon Café into its next exciting chapter
